PART TIME RECEPTIONIST

ST BRYCEDALE SURGERY

Salary/Banding: Band 2

Hours: 20 Hours Per Week, 4 hours daily (Flexibility essential during our opening hours of 8am-6pm and a requirement to work one extended hours shift until 6:45pm on a rotational basis.)

St Brycedale Surgery is a four partner GP Practice based in the heart of the community, located centrally within the beautiful Kingdom of Fife, with easy access to the cities of Edinburgh, Perth, and St Andrews. We are in an east coast town with the beach just a 10-minute walk away.

Our ethos is to provide the best possible primary care services to our patients in an efficient, friendly, and sympathetic manner. We are looking for someone to join our reception team who enjoys working with the public and is both professional and approachable at all times. It is essential that they have a positive approach to their work when dealing with our patients and interacting within the team. We seek an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is confident working in a busy and challenging environment.

• Flexibility to work during staff absences, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Duties

All reception/admin tasks to support the smooth operation of the practice, including:

• Signposting patients
• Assisting with appointments, prescription requests, and general inquiries
• Effective communication with the multidisciplinary team

Competency in using GP clinical systems would be advantageous. Previous experience working with the public is essential. A medical background would be preferred but is not mandatory.
