Position: Part-Time RE Teacher

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Part-Time Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Sidcup. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students in exploring world religions, ethics, and philosophy.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive RE lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 possible for the right candidate).
  • Promote students’ spiritual, moral, and cultural development.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and respect for diverse beliefs.
  • Collaborate with the Humanities/RE department to enhance the curriculum.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs welcome).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for RE.
  • Ability to motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a school setting.
