Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Clinical Support Worker in Radiology, Band 3, 21.6 hours per week, permanent. The post is based at Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway, with occasional travel to Benbecula for ultrasound chaperoning.

The successful candidate will join a team of radiographers and sonographers, delivering high-quality imaging services, patient care, and efficient department operations in a remote, island setting.

Qualifications

• Some healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with radiology or patient-facing roles helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Radiology.
• Prepare for and assist with radiological procedures including biopsies and drainages.
• Carry out general duties: reception, booking, telephone coverage, stock control.
