Job summary

West Lothian Council is recruiting a Pupil Support Worker to join East Calder Primary School’s nursery team. The post is 26 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year, fixed term until 15 August 2027. The successful candidate will support children with development needs and work on a rota between 7.45 am and 6.15 pm.

Registration with the SSSC is required, with six months to achieve it. PVG scheme clearance will be sought prior to a formal offer of employment.

Qualifications

• Registration with the SSSC required
• Six months to complete SSSC registration
• Experience with nursery settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with development needs in nursery
• Work on a rota covering 7.45 am–6.15 pm
