Job summary

Curious Motion in Elland, Calderdale, is seeking a compassionate Project Manager to lead Calder Movers and Creators. The role involves day-to-day management, coordinating classes and events, and budgeting with an emphasis on equity and inclusion.

The position is 22.5 hours per week, home working allowed, fixed-term from January 2027 to June 2029, with a pro rata salary of £19,305 per annum. A UK-driving license and DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing community, arts or health and wellbeing programmes.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Confidence managing budgets and working with a range of people.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of Calder Movers and Creators.
• Coordinate classes, workshops and events.
• Manage budgets and project reporting.
• Lead search for a permanent studio space.
• Build relationships with participants, local partners and referral organisations.
