Job summary

The Royal Air Force Museum is seeking a part-time Project Accountant to support the Midlands development programme. The role focuses on robust financial reporting, forecasting, and NLHF compliance for the £30M capital project, with collaboration across all sites including Cosford.

Based at the Midlands site, you will work 21 hours per week, contribute to budgeting and financial controls, and interact with the Project Manager and finance colleagues to drive accurate reporting and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in project accounting and financial reporting.
• Ability to forecast and monitor budgets for large capital projects.
• Familiarity with NLHF guidelines and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, monitoring, and forecasting for the £30M capital project.
• Ensure NLHF financial guidelines and documentation are followed.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, internal finance teams, and stakeholders.
• Provide timely updates and analysis to support decision-making.
• Contribute to the success of a landmark transformation in the Museum’s history.
