HomeOrganisers Limited is seeking an experienced part-time Housekeeper for a spacious 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom private home in Cranleigh, Surrey. The role focuses on high-standard housekeeping, organisation and ironing, with the candidate expected to take initiative and manage tasks independently.

A love of dogs is essential as the family has two small dogs, and occasional pet and house-sitting duties may be required, with extra pay. The position offers flexibility over working days and approx.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping role within a private household.
• Excellent laundry and ironing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Organised, proactive and able to use initiative; able to work independently.
• A genuine love of dogs.
• Willing to undertake occasional overnight pet and house sitting.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and tidying throughout the home to a high standard
• Deep cleaning on a rotational basis
• Laundry and ironing to a high standard, particularly shirts
• Changing and organising bed linen
• Managing household organisation, including linen cupboards and general storage areas
• Kitchen upkeep, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Taking out bins and recycling
• Occasional household errands as required
• Pet and house sitting when the family is away
• Occasional ad hoc administrative support, such as photocopying, post office runs, answering the telephone or making bookings
