Job summary

Realm Recruit is seeking a Private Family Solicitor in Doncaster. You’ll join a genuinely family-run firm that values people over targets and supports long-term career growth.

In your first year you’ll handle divorce, financial remedy and private children matters while developing your network and business development activity. As your caseload grows, you’ll gain autonomy and a clear pathway to a senior role within the firm.

Qualifications

• Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least two years’ experience in Private Family law.
• Experience managing divorce, financial remedy and private children matters.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of privately funded family matters
• Advising clients on divorce, separation, financial remedy and private children cases
• Handling pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements and injunction matters
• Advising on TOLATA matters where appropriate
• Building your own client base through networking and business development
• Supervising and supporting junior colleagues as your experience develops
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider Family team
• Helping contribute to the continued growth of the Doncaster office

Who we’re looking for

• Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least two years’ experience in Private Family law
• Experience managing divorce, financial remedy and private children matters
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
• Excellent client care, communication and drafting skills
• Strong commercial awareness and a good billing record
• Willingness to network and support business development activities
• Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office
• Professional, organised and collaborative approach
• Ambition to develop your career within the firm
• Experience supervising junior colleagues or an interest in doing so(Desired)
• TOLATA experience(Desired)
• Around 8+ years’ PQE(Desired)
