Job summary

Milton Keynes College is seeking a part-time Learning Facilitator for HMP Ford to promote and support access to learning, including distance learning and the use of the Virtual campus. You will work with the Education Manager and prison teams to maximise engagement and progression, plus handle administration and course completion.

The role requires good IT skills, experience in delivering information sessions, and a positive, creative approach to helping learners engage with education.

Qualifications

• Good IT skills and experience supporting students.
• Experience delivering information sessions.
• Ability to facilitate Open University/Distance Learning courses.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Education Manager and wider teams to promote and support access to learning.
• Support distance learning learners and administer courses to completion.
• Assist with screening and assessment sessions and deliver short presentations.
• Be an enthusiastic, creative presence to engage and guide learners.
