Job summary

Five Ways Primary School is seeking an unqualified teacher to cover two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday) on a temporary basis with a start date as soon as possible and until 31 August 2027, with possible extension. The role involves delivering engaging lessons across the primary age range and covering PPA time.

We welcome candidates with experience as a Learning Assistant, HLTA or Cover Supervisor who can work well in a team, be self-motivated and contribute to KS1 teaching practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in Primary Education as a Learning Assistant, HLTA or Cover Supervisor.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team and also independently.
• Willingness to develop and share outstanding teaching practice across KS1.
• Ability to enthuse and engage pupils in purposeful learning experiences.
• Passion for children's learning and welfare, with high expectations of achievement and behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively within a team to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons.
• Be self-motivated and able to work independently when needed.
• Develop and share best teaching practices across KS1 with colleagues.
