This is a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Thurrock, committed to providing a high-quality education and a supportive learning environment. We pride ourselves on fostering creativity, teamwork, and a love of learning. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis, starting in April.

This school is seeking an inspirational and passionate Primary Teacher to join their team for two days per week. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, creating a positive learning environment, and supporting their pupils' academic and personal development. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in primary schools and a commitment to providing the best educational experiences for all children.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to primary school children
  2. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback
  3. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued
  4. Work collaboratively with other staff members and engage with parents to support student development
  5. Contribute to the school's curriculum planning and development
  6. Promote the school's values and ensure a high standard of behaviour and discipline

Requirements:

  1. QTS or equivalent
  2. Experience teaching in primary education
  3. A strong passion for teaching and helping children achieve their full potential
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  6. A proactive, flexible approach to teaching and problem-solving
  7. An up-to-date DBS check or willingness to obtain one
