The City of Edinburgh Council is advertising a Business Manager (Primary) position based in one Edinburgh primary school. The post, on-site 18 hours per week over 40 weeks, oversees Finance, HR, information governance, resources, facilities, IT and Health & Safety with PVG scheme requirements for the successful candidate.

The role supports the Headteacher in all non-curricular operations; candidates should show strong leadership and the ability to manage day-to-day school operations with

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, HR, information governance, or related school operations areas.
• Ability to manage non-curricular aspects of school operations.
• Experience leading support services in an educational setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Headteacher in non-curricular school management areas such as Finance, HR and IT.
• Maintain and develop operational efficiency across Early Years and Primary within the school.
• Work with external agencies and contractors to deliver services.
