Job summary

Gleniffer Medical Group in Barrhead is seeking a motivated Practice Nurse to join its friendly and supportive team within Barrhead Health & Care Centre. The role involves general nursing duties and conducting reviews for long-term conditions such as asthma, diabetes and hypertension, with options for more hours.

You will be NMC registered, with cervical screening certification preferred; independent prescribing is desirable.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration is required.
• Experience in general practice nursing preferred.
• Ability to provide reviews for long-term conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing duties in a GP practice.
• Carry out reviews for asthma, diabetes, COPD, CHD and hypertension.
• Maintain high standards of record keeping and confidentiality.
