Job summary

Equals One is seeking a Part Time Practice Accountant in Worksop to manage a diverse client portfolio and provide expert UK personal and corporate tax guidance. You will work 20-25 hours weekly, in-office, reporting to the Practice Owner.

You will use TaxCalc, Kashflow, QuickBooks, Xero and Excel to deliver accurate tax computations, accounts, and client support, while building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Solid practice experience.
• Able to manage a full client portfolio from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of UK personal and corporate tax.
• A natural relationship-builder who enjoys client contact.
• Comfortable working across modern accounting software.
• A team player who's happy to share knowledge and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing your own varied portfolio of clients across the industrial, transport and farming sectors.
• Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax computations and returns.
• Giving clients clear, timely advice on personal and corporate tax matters.
• Preparing statutory and management accounts to a high standard.
• Building strong, lasting client relationships through regular contact and meetings.
• Getting hands-on with TaxCalc, Kashflow, QuickBooks, Xero, Dext, Word and Excel.
• Liaising with HMRC and other bodies on behalf of clients.
• Staying sharp on the latest tax legislation, accounting standards, and best practice.
• Working as part of a team - no formal line management required.

Location: Worksop (office based) Hours: 20-25 hours a week Contract: Part-time, permanent Reports to: Practice Owner Salary: £45,000 Pro Rata
