TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practicerecruitment agency is representing an excellent firm of accountants based inWest Malling, Kent who are looking for a Part Time Practice Accountant to jointheir team.

Our client is a well-established practice who services awide range of clients across Kent, Sussex, London and the South-East. They havea broad range of clients from startup businesses through to significantly sizedgroups. They provide a range of services from bookkeeping, VAT and payrollthrough to tax, accounts and advisory services.

They're looking for a Part Time Practice Accountant to jointheir team based in West Malling, Kent where you will report into the Partnerand be responsible for a mixture of accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT work.

You will also help a couple of junior members of the teamthrough reviewing their work and helping them with their development. For thoselooking for progression, there are excellent progression prospects on offer anda clear route to progress to Director in the future, should you wish.

• Reviewingand preparing year end accounts for sole trader, ltd companies and LLPs.
  
• Reviewingand preparing management accounts and assisting the Partner withpresenting them to non-financial stakeholders.
  
• Reviewingand preparing corporate tax and personal tax returns.
  
• Dealingwith more complex matters relating to CIS and VAT.
  
• Supportingthe Partners with ad-hoc project work and assisting with basic taxplanning.
  
  

Requirements

• Youwill be ACCA or ACA qualified, or qualified by experience
  
• Experienceof Xero, Sage and or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
  
• Youwill have at least 5+ years’ experience working within an accountancypractice.
  
• Basedin Kent- commutable from Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks,Medway, Rochester, Chatham etc.
  
• Youmust be able to drive
