Job description

Hays Education is currently recruiting reliable and adaptable primary teachers to work at a Primary School in Central Bristol. This role is to cover a teacher’s PPA time and will be every Tuesday, working in Key Stage 1 in the morning and Year 5 in the afternoon. The school’s mission is to ensure that every pupil leaves school with the ability and desire to learn more, unlock their potential, and make their mark in the world. This is a one-day-a-week, part-time position in this BS5 school.

Your new role

This role is one day a week and is suited to an adaptable primary teacher comfortable teaching both Key Stage 1 and Year 5. The school is looking for someone with strong and adaptable classroom skills, as you will be covering class duties for the day while the classroom teacher is on PPA. The role is open to strong Early Career Teachers (ECTs). The successful candidate will need to take on the day-to-day responsibilities of the class and integrate into the school's culture and atmosphere. These classes will expect a consistent approach, even though you will be providing supply cover for the day.
