Qualifications

  • Police vetting is mandatory.

Part Time Police Custody Nurse or Paramedic, Ipswich

Job Description:

If you're looking to redirect your career as a nurse or paramedic, we provide a dynamic and innovative pathway with opportunities for progression and extensive training.

  • Salary: £20,000 per year
  • Bonus upon completing 12 months of service
  • Part-time fixed shift work: 06:45 to 19:00 for day shifts, 18:45 to 07:00 for night shifts, in a rota pattern of 2-day shifts on, 8 days off, 2-night shifts, 4 days off. Rota planned 2 years in advance.
  • Average estimated overtime pay per annum
  • NMC/HCPC Registration paid

Requirements:

  • RN, RGN, or (RMN with dual registration): 2 years post-qualification; Band 5 minimum
  • Paramedic: 2 years post-qualification
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within relevant fields such as General Practice, A&E, Emergency Medicine, acute medicine, Walk-in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service
  • Driving Licence required
  • Right to Work in UK, British Passport or ILR for 3 years, no gaps out of country exceeding 3 months
  • Police vetting required for all candidates
