Job summary

Pulse Healthcare’s Phlebotomy Team in North Wales is recruiting experienced Phlebotomists/Healthcare Support Workers for a part-time, shift-based role across multiple mobile sites.

You must have at least 12 months' phlebotomy experience and proof of competency; driver is preferred due to mobile sites. There is potential for 2+ days per week, with more hours possible depending on vacancies.

Qualifications

• Recent phlebotomy experience of at least 12 months.
• Proof of competency.
• Driver would be beneficial due to mobile sites.

Responsibilities

• Take height, weight and waist measurements and record data.
• Draw two blood samples per participant, label and store correctly.
• Check participant welfare and escalate issues to nurse in charge as needed.
• Offer signposting, advice and guidance to participants.
• Prepare boxes containing samples for courier collection at end of shift.
