Job summary

Day Lewis Pharmacy Newport I.O.W is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant - Dispenser on a part-time basis, 12-18 hours per week. Working hours will be from 2:30pm to 8:30pm (or 4:30pm to 8:30pm) depending on preference.

Prior experience is preferred but not essential, as full training can be provided. You will join a small, supportive team and play a key role in patient care, front counter duties, and building strong patient relationships.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in pharmacy is preferred but not essential.
• Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
• Experience with front counter interactions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist in developing the pharmacy business and customer service standards.
• Support at the front counter and provide a welcoming experience to patients.
• Be part of a small, dedicated team and contribute to day-to-day pharmacy operations.
• Develop relationships with patients and healthcare providers to improve patient care.
• Work as part of a family-owned chain that rewards hard work.
