Job summary

North Yorkshire Centre for Independent Living is seeking a Personal Support Assistant to provide 7 hours per week of support for an intelligent gentleman with mental health issues. The role includes assistance with correspondence, IT and some meal preparation, and transport to Walking Football in Malton on Fridays (4pm–7pm).

A car driver is required as mileage will be paid. The position pays £16.29 per hour and some hours may be on Fridays while others are to be agreed at interview.

Qualifications

• A DBS will be required for this position.
• Driving Licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support a gentleman with correspondence, IT and some meal preparation.
• Take him to Walking Football in Malton on Fridays (4pm–7pm); driving is required.
