Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of autism, sensory processing, mental health or eating disorders would be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Booking, arranging and supporting attendance at appointments (medical, hospital, dentist, optician, autism support group, vets).
• Getting and arranging prescriptions when needed.
• Liaising with Yorkshire Housing Association on repairs and reporting them.
• Support with utilities, meter reading, providers and changing suppliers.
• Help finding internet and mobile providers.
• Help understanding or responding to post, forms and paperwork.
• Practical tasks at home (beds, vacuuming, sorting paperwork, cupboards, heating controls).
• Support in sensory-overload environments and communication.
• Support to manage physical and mental health and reduce hospital admissions.
• Support visiting family and gradual social outings.
