Direct Payment Recipient seeks a part-time/relief Personal Assistant/Carer to join a small team in Pontyates, Carmarthenshire. The role involves assisting with daily living, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and accompanying to appointments.

Mileage is paid for transport, and duties include admin tasks and safeguarding responsibilities. Training can be provided where needed, and flexibility is required to cover shifts as agreed.

Competenze

• Experience in personal care preferred but training can be provided.
• Ability to work as part of a team to support the employer.

Mansioni

• Assist with day-to-day activities to help the employer stay independent.
• Provide high-standard personal care (dressing, undressing, bathing, skin care).
• Prepare meals and assist with cooking and food safety.
• Carry out household chores including cleaning and laundry.
• Provide transporter support to appointments; mileage paid.
• Advocate for the employer and communicate with carers, GP, social workers as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks and online assistance as required.
• Ensure safety and safeguarding in the employer's home at all times.
