Recruitment Helpline Ltd seeks a part-time People Manager to lead HR and recruitment on a maternity cover basis. The role is office-based in Winnersh and offers 16 hours per week with flexible patterns. You will manage recruitment, onboarding through offboarding, advise managers, and ensure UK compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven HR management and/or internal recruitment experience.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience handling employee relations cases confidently.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or working towards).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment across office, field, and site-based roles.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
• Act as a trusted HR advisor to managers and employees.
• Support employee relations matters including absence, disciplinary, and grievance processes.
• Maintaining compliance with UK employment legislation, GDPR, and HR best practice.
• Coordinating training, development, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Managing HR, recruitment, and training budgets.
• Producing HR metrics and reports to support business decisions.
• Driving continuous improvement across HR processes and systems.
