Job summary

University of Cambridge seeks an Assistant Librarian (PBST) to lead engagement for the Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Tripos and Biological Sciences Libraries. This role combines library management, webmastering, and academic liaison to support teaching, learning, and research priorities.

You will design training, deliver library services, and manage the Department's web presence, contributing to a collaborative team culture within SBS Libraries.

Qualifications

• Experienced library professional with strong stakeholder relationships.
• Experience delivering teaching, training, or learning support both online and in-person.
• Knowledge of academic information resources and STEM collections.
• Proven ability to manage departmental web presence and digital resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead on department engagement for PBST and SBS Libraries Team.
• Deliver library services across Biological Science Libraries.
• Lead on managing and maintaining Department websites and digital resources.
• Design and deliver training sessions with staff and colleagues.
• Provide academic liaison with the Department of Psychology.
