Job Description:

A fashion brand is looking for a Payroll Officer/Manager to join their team on a part-time basis. They are looking for someone friendly and approachable to take on the payroll duties for the company. They are happy for someone to work 24-32 hours per week and split the hours depending on what works best for the individual. They also offer hybrid working.

The ideal candidate would have worked in a payroll position in retail and also worked on commission based roles.

They are based near Fulham, southwest London and paying up to £47,000 per annum, pro rata.

Who you are:

  • Previous expeirence in a payroll position, ideally in retail
  • Strong communicator - ability to answer payroll queries concisely
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Strong Excel experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Driven and enthusiastic in supporting colleagues and the business with the payroll function

What you'll do:

  • Ensure the smooth running of the monthly payroll, accurately and to strict deadlines
  • Transparent with audit trail
  • Uploading data onto a third party supplier
  • Maintain all aspects of payroll and benefits for payroll related audit checks
  • First point of contact for all payroll queries
  • Manage consolidation payments such as P11ds, P45s and P46s
  • Compile statutory and regulatory reporting
  • Responsbile for finalising the tax year end
  • Manage any statutory or internal reporting including gender pay gap and diversity and inclusion
