Job description

An established, family orientated company is seeking to recruit an experienced Payroll Clerk who can take full responsibility for multiple payrolls. Applicants need to have experience with all aspects of both weekly and monthly payrolls from start to finish in addition to managing related queries and admin. This is a part time position and some hours can be taken from home.


THE ROLE
  1. Part Time hours, hybrid work pattern available.
  2. Responsibility for processing multiple payrolls both weekly and monthly.
  3. Knowledge of Tax, pensions and CIS advantageous.
  4. Solve all payroll queries using experience, knowledge and initiative.
  5. Family orientated, supportive and welcoming company.

THE CANDIDATE
  1. Must possess practical experience overseeing multiple weekly & monthly payrolls.
  2. Self managed, able to remain accurate & focussed whilst striving towards deadlines.
  3. Knowledge of current payroll legislation, pensions and CIS would be ideal.
  4. Proactive and confident work ethic.
  5. Experience of processing payroll for sole traders, partnerships and SME's would be an advantage.
