About the role
Venus Wine and Spirit Merchants Plc is a well-established and respected UK-based distributor of premium wines and spirits, owned by Booker since June 2024. With over 20 years of experience, we are committed to supplying the highest quality products to our customers and delivering exceptional customer. We have our headquarters in Tottenham N17, a distribution depot in Leeds, Bristol, and Gerry's in Soho London - one of the country's most famous spirits shops.
You will be responsible for
• Pick and process orders from a given pick list
• Ensure orders are accurate
• Stack items correctly for delivery
• Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
• Carry out stock replenishments
• Ensure warehouse goals are met
• Maintain a high level of health and safety standards
• Shrink wrap products to pallets
• Perform other general warehouse duties as needed


You will need
• Preferably previous experience working in a warehouse
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Experience handling of electric pump trucks
• Positive attitude
• Self-Motivated; active
• Safety conscious
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills; good spoken and written English
• Ability to work well both in a team and alone
