Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking a Care Assistant for Stowe Place in Lichfield, Staffordshire. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week and pays £13.26 per hour, with enhanced rates for evenings and weekends.

You’ll support residents with daily tasks in one location, with no travel between calls, and join a friendly on-site team. Experience in UK health and social care is preferred; Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK health and social care is preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus.
• Caring, dependable and passionate about supporting older adults.
• Locational requirement: living within commuting distance of the development.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily domestic tasks (appointments, light cleaning, laundry, shopping).
• Assist with social activities and wellbeing routines.
• Promote independence, dignity and community engagement.
• Support with individual care packages.
