Job summary

LinkLiving Limited is seeking an Assistant Project Worker for the Older Persons Service based in Kirkcaldy with regular travel across Fife. The role is 15 hours per week over two days, with a focus on light-touch support for older service users, many with dementia.

You will work in a trauma-informed team, maintain records, and assist with transport, appointments, and social activities while supporting inclusion in the community.

Qualifications

• Good computer skills and ability to use technology to maintain and update records.
• Knowledge of issues affecting older people, including dementia.
• Valid driver’s license with access to a car for travel between services.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support in people’s own homes.
• Assist with transport to health services, GP, dentist, hospital appointments, shopping and social outings.
• Work with project workers and volunteers to engage and include service users within their communities.
