Job summary

Concept Resources in Morpeth is recruiting a Cleaning Operative to work part-time in a financial services environment. This temporary to permanent opportunity offers regular part-time hours and a PAYE rate of £13.45 per hour.

The successful candidate will maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation, vacuum and mop floors, tidy offices and facilities, and report maintenance issues. Basic DBS, right to work in the UK, and COSHH awareness are required.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Right to work in the UK and able to pass a Basic DBS check.
• COSHH knowledge and safe use of cleaning chemicals is desirable.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of office and customer-facing areas.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Dusting and wiping surfaces, desks and touch points.
• Cleaning kitchen and welfare facilities.
• Cleaning toilets, washrooms and replenishing consumables.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Ensuring cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly.
• Reporting maintenance issues and health and safety concerns.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness at all times.
• Using the site's time and attendance system.
