Part-Time Office Admin Assistant – Primary School

Are you an experienced administrative professional looking for a rewarding role in a friendly school environment? We are seeking a Part-Time Office Admin Assistant to join our vibrant and welcoming primary school.

As an Office Admin Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our school office. You will provide essential administrative support to staff, pupils, and parents, maintaining a warm and efficient front office.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner
  • Welcoming visitors and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
  • Assisting with pupil attendance records and school communications
  • Handling general administrative tasks, including data entry and filing
  • Supporting the school’s finance and admissions processes as required
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in an administrative role (ideally in a school setting)
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Knowledge of school systems such as SIMS (desirable but not essential)
