Job summary

University of Exeter seeks a part-time Lecturer in Nursing (E&S) to join the Academy of Nursing within the Department of Health and Care Professions. The role is 0.4 FTE with a pro-rata salary of £44,352–£49,798 per year, and involves contributing to teaching and student support across the nursing portfolio.

You will teach, design sessions, support recruitment and placements, and participate in quality assurance and CPD activities, with the goal of advancing student success and departmental

Qualifications

• PhD (or nearing completion) or equivalent teaching experience.
• Experience using a range of delivery techniques to engage students.
• Develop external networks for recruitment, placements, outreach, consultancy, and partnerships.
• Evidence of excellent teaching identified by peer review and impact beyond individual modules.
• Commitment to Fellow of the HEA status and ongoing CPD.

Responsibilities

• Teach predominantly in Nursing within the Department of Health and Care Professions.
• Contribute to all aspects of the student journey including recruitment, module leadership, session design and delivery.
• Lead and support assessment, quality assurance and student support activities.
