Job summary

Teach Plus is recruiting a Nursery Teacher for a January 2027 start at a welcoming primary school in Ealing. The role is part-time, two days per week, with responsibilities sharing within a Nursery class to foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for early learning.

You will support children's communication, social skills and independence while delivering EYFS-based activities and assessments to inform planning.

Qualifications

• QTS or relevant qualification required.
• Experience as Nursery Teacher within a school setting or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that support children's development across the EYFS.
• Share classroom responsibilities within the Nursery class, working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain continuity of teaching and learning.
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, independence and positive behaviour.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress, using observations to inform planning and support individual learning needs.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers to support children's wellbeing, development and transition through Early Years education.
• Contribute to the implementation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities promote communication, language, personal development and school readiness.

Education

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
