Job summary

MiChild Group is seeking a Nursery Housekeeper for Sunbeams Nursery in Atherton. The role is 16 hours per week with hours Mon & Fri 3pm-6pm and Tue-Thu 4pm-7pm. Salary starts from £12.75 per hour.

The nursery cares for up to 68 children and is part of MiChild’s Sunbeams operation. You will maintain cleanliness and support safeguarding and Ofsted practices in a welcoming setting. Benefits include 80% childcare discount from day one, staff wellbeing services, and annual leave.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the day nursery, including toilets, kitchen, play rooms and staff areas.
• Clean all surfaces: floors, paintwork, tiles and walls.
• Report maintenance issues that affect cleaning.
• Remove bottles and recyclables to the correct bin and ensure recycling where possible.
• Ensure shortages do not prevent cleaning.
• Complete high and low level dusting as required.
• Committed to safeguarding all children.
