MiChild Group at Sunbeams Nursery in Atherton is seeking a Nursery Housekeeper to keep the nursery clean and welcoming for children aged 0-4. This 16-hour per week role offers an hourly rate of £12.75, with shifts Monday/Friday 3-6 and Tue-Thu 4-7.

You will clean all areas, report maintenance needs, manage waste, and support safeguarding while supporting staff wellbeing and teamwork in a Good Ofsted setting.

Responsabilidades

• Clean all areas of the day nursery including toilets, kitchen, play rooms and staff areas
• Clean all surfaces of the day nursery including floors, paintwork, tiles and walls
• Report any maintenance issues that affect cleaning
• Remove bottles and recyclables to the appropriate bin and recycle when possible
• Ensure shortages do not prevent cleaning
• Complete high and low level dusting
• Commit to safeguarding of all children

About MiChild at Sunbeams Nursery

Sunbeams Nursery is a warm and welcoming nursery in Atherton. We are proud to be rated “Good” by Ofsted and care for up to 68 children as part of the MiChild family.

Our nursery has been newly refurbished within the last year. We have three bright play spaces for children aged 0–2, 2–3 and 3–4 years. We also have a sensory exploration room where children can explore, relax and learn in a calm environment.

We have two lovely outdoor garden areas at the back of the nursery. One garden opens directly from the baby room. Our outdoor spaces are used daily for activities such as outdoor yoga, games and imaginative play.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the nursery clean and tidy, reporting any potential maintenance issues to the Maintenance team:

• To clean all areas of the day nursery including toilets, kitchen, play rooms and staff areas


• To clean all surfaces of the day nursery including floors, paintwork, tiles and walls.


• Report any maintenance issues that prevent safe and efficient cleaning of these areas.


• To remove all bottles and recyclable materials to the relevant position or bin and ensuring anything recyclable is recycled.


• ensuring that shortages do not prevent cleaning.


• Ensure all high and low level dusting is completed.


• To be committed to the safeguarding of all children

This role is 16 hours per week- Hours: Monday and Fridays (3pm-6pm) Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (4pm-7pm)
