Job summary

Excelcare Holdings is seeking a Part Time Night Registered Nurse for Castlemead Care Home in Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care with a compassionate team, ensuring safe clinical decisions and adherence to the NMC Code.

The position involves 8pm–8am shifts, 24 hours per week, with enhanced bank holiday pay and a range of nursing benefits. CQC rating is GOOD and continues to improve through dedicated care.

Qualifications

• A valid UK NMC Pin number.
• Understanding and knowledge of regulatory frameworks – NMC and CQC.
• A passion for working with older people.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a caring, kind and professional nature.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor care plans.
• Work with the nurse team and report to the Deputy Manager.
• Contribute to person-centred care plans and risk assessments.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities while promoting independence, dignity and respect.
