Job summary

Sirona care & health CIC is recruiting a Healthcare Support Worker for Elton Rehabilitation Unit in Clevedon. This permanent, part-time post is 34.5 hours per week with day/night shifts on a rotation including weekends and bank holidays.

The salary is £25,760 - £27,476 per annum, pro rata. You will work within a MDT providing holistic, patient-centred care under the supervision of registered nurses, in a NHS environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of direct patient care in a health or social care setting.
• Able to work without direct supervision, as agreed within the team, to achieve the objectives of the post.
• Able to prioritise tasks.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with a variety of service users with a range of communication needs and/ or cultural backgrounds.
• Able to record succinct and accurate information on the patient record both in writing and electronically.
• Recent relevant experience within the community or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, person-centred care and support for service users in a MDT.
• Support registered nurses in the delivery of care and maintain safe delivery of holistic care.
• Deliver clinical care including observation, blood glucose monitoring and simple dressings.
