Job summary

NHS Lothian is inviting applications for a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join the East and Midlothian CYP SLT service. Posts cover the East Lothian and Midlothian Health Centre networks within a joint CYP SLT team and include supervision duties for SLT Assistant Practitioners.

You will work within a friendly, experienced team delivering community SLT services to children and young people with diverse needs, across NHS clinics and external settings.

Qualifications

• Qualified speech and language therapist with experience with children.
• Works within a skill-mixed team in community and clinics.
• Flexible and innovative approach to SLT service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full range of community SLT cases.
• Provide supervision to SLT Assistant Practitioners.
• Work across NHS clinics and external settings in the local area.
