Northamptonshire Nature Fund Officer is a fixed-term, 18-month role at 0.4 FTE, working across the County to promote and develop the Nature Fund and engage the local business community and risk management agencies.

The post requires flexible hours including evenings and weekends, with travel to various sites. A degree in a relevant subject and at least two years of experience are expected, along with strong IT, organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in an appropriate technical or scientific subject such as communications, business management or project management.
• At least two years relevant work experience in a relevant position.

Responsabilités

• Develop relationships with the local business community through attendance at chamber meetings and other professional gatherings across the County.
• Establish and support a Business Group under the Nene Valley Catchment Partnership for input into planning.
• Maintain contacts database and records of engagement.
• Supervise volunteers in the delivery of soft engineering elements of projects where appropriate.
• Support the NRT team in maintaining digital assets and broadcasting messages via social media and website.
