A lovely family, who has a 2 month old and a 4 year old, are looking for a warm and experienced Nanny/All-rounder to help them with their daily household duties. The family requires assistance on three half-days per week, and they are seeking a trustworthy and experienced individual who is caring, responsible, and has a positive, friendly attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for the baby, including nappy changes, helping with feeds, and taking the baby for walks in the pram.
  • Occasionally help with the family’s 4-year-old child, including taking them to nursery or engaging in activities at home.
  • Cooking nutritious meals for the family.
  • Cleaning and tidying up the household, including general cleaning tasks and organising.
  • Laundry and ironing as required.

General Support:

  • Provide general household assistance to the family, ensuring a smooth-running household.
  • Assist the family with tasks as needed, particularly as the parents adjust to having a newborn in the home.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in caring for newborns, including an understanding of their needs and routines.
  • A friendly, approachable, and caring demeanour.
  • Experience with housekeeping, including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Flexibility to work three half-days per week, with the ability to work between Tuesday and Friday.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and able to respect the family’s privacy.
  • Comfortable working with a family where the father is a wheelchair user. The house is fully accessible, and the father is highly capable and athletic, but it is important that the candidate feels comfortable in this environment.
  • Warm, friendly, and empathetic personality.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to help with household tasks.
