Responsibilities

• Performs qualitative and quantitative tests using automated instrumentation or manual methods.
• Performs quality assurance procedures and documentation; calibrations and troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintains records of tests and results for patient care inquiries.
• Conducts phlebotomy according to established protocols and supports specimen handling.
• Performs order entry, specimen receipt and customer service for the laboratory.
