Job summary

Greystone House Surgery in Redhill is seeking a proactive Medical Receptionist for our two sites. You will manage appointments, handle patient enquiries face to face, by phone, and online, and support GP clinics with courteous, efficient service.

The role is part-time, Monday to Friday with morning or afternoon shifts, and full training on EMIS Web and Accurx will be provided. Candidates should have GCSE English and Maths and experience in a busy, patient-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a patient/customer facing role.
• Strong IT skills and accuracy with records.
• Ability to work as part of a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Manage appointment bookings and clinic scheduling.
• Handle patient enquiries face to face, over the phone and online.
• Register new patients and manage emails and internal electronic tasks in the clinical system.
• Open and close the surgery following security protocols and oversee waiting area.
