University of Chichester invites applications for an Equipment Loans Technician to support the Creative & Cultural Industries department at Bognor Regis campus. The role involves managing the loan and return of professional media equipment, and assisting students and staff in using cameras, lighting and audio gear.

You will work within a small team, providing inductions and demonstrations, and helping maintain equipment to industry standards while contributing to a positive student experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a creative/media support environment.
• Understanding of digital film and cinematography equipment (cameras, lighting, audio).
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Proactive, flexible and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage loan and return of specialist media equipment.
• Maintain and upkeep cameras, lighting and audio equipment.
• Provide technical advice and support to students and staff.
• Deliver equipment inductions and demonstrations; ensure safe use of equipment.
