Job summary

Lochardil House, part of Highland Coast Hotels, invites applications for a reliable Maintenance Person to keep the hotel and grounds safe, well-presented and fully operational for guests and staff. This is a hands-on role covering plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and general DIY, plus lawn care and exterior upkeep. You will work with the management team to handle maintenance requests and may assist external contractors when needed. Hourly rate is £14, with service charges and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or handyman roles within hospitality, facilities, or property upkeep.
• Practical skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and decorating, and general repairs.
• Organised, proactive, able to work independently and manage a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across the hotel and grounds.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, joinery work, painting and decorating, and general DIY tasks.
• Maintain outdoor areas including grass cutting and grounds upkeep; keep exterior areas tidy and welcoming.
• Respond to maintenance requests, assist with small improvement projects, and support external contractors when needed.
