Fairstead Community Primary and Nursery School in King's Lynn is seeking a Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team. This permanent, part‑time role is 7.5 hours per week, term time only, with a starting pay of Scale A £13.28 per hour.

The role focuses on supporting lunchtime activities, ensuring pupil safety, helping with meals, and encouraging positive eating habits. We welcome caring, patient staff and provide training within a supportive school community.

Responsibilities

• To assist in the dining hall where needed, e.g. reporting dinner numbers, clearing away, setting up.
• Support the needs and wellbeing of children in classrooms and outside to ensure safety.
• Ensure lunchtime is a positive experience for the children.
• Encourage good eating habits and assist children where necessary.
• Maintain a safe lunch environment, including clearing spillages and assisting with meals.
• Supervise movement of children to and from classroom and toilets.
• Inform relevant teachers if issues arise requiring attention.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and guidance in school.
