Job summary

Sir Francis Hill Primary School in Lincoln is seeking a Play Leader to supervise pupils during the lunch period, 12:00 to 13:15, term time only. The role is part-time, 6.25 hours per week, permanent.

You will plan activities, ensure safety, coordinate games, and store equipment while helping children develop socially, physically and emotionally. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, patient and reliable, and committed to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising children in a primary school setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare activities to aid the social development of pupils.
• Ensure pupil safety is in place at all times.
• Coordinate and organise suitable games/activities.
• Set up and oversee storage of portable equipment/resources.
• Demonstrate creativity and innovation within policies and procedures and deliver activities to assist with the physical, emotional, educational and social development of young people.
