Job summary

Partou Euxton Day Nursery & Pre-school is looking for a Lunchtime Cover Assistant to join our team in Chorley. The role is 15 hours per week, part-time and permanent, with a focus on providing engaging, EYFS-aligned activities while covering lunch break duties.

We welcome an individual who is passionate about early years education, supports children’s learning and development, and upholds safeguarding standards in a busy nursery setting.

Qualifications

• Strong EYFS knowledge and understanding of early years best practices.
• Demonstrates passion for early years education and child development.
• Confidently supports learning and development within a nursery setting.
• Committed to safeguarding and continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide lunchtime cover and support to the nursery team.
• Engage children in stimulating activities aligned with EYFS.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment and support families.
