Job summary

Partou Shepherds Lane Day Nursery & Pre-school in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, is seeking an unqualified nursery practitioner to take on the flexible 15 hours per week Lunchtime Cover Assistant role. You will work towards ensuring children engage in stimulating activities that support their learning and development in line with the EYFS.

You will provide exceptional care and compassion towards the children, maintain a safe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare

Qualifications

• Strong EYFS knowledge.
• Passion for early years education.
• Confidence in supporting children's learning and development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure children engage in stimulating activities that support learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Provide exceptional care and maintain a safe and inclusive environment; build strong partnerships with families.
• Step in to provide cover during lunch breaks to support the nursery team.
