Job summary

St Peter’s Church of England Primary Academy is recruiting two Midday Supervisory Assistants to join our supportive team. Post 1 covers 6.5 hours per week and Post 2 covers 2.5 hours per week, during the midday break.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to stay calm in a busy environment, and a commitment to safeguarding children. Flexibility and initiative are also valued for this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in designated areas during midday break and ensure safety and conduct.
• Establish safe behaviour through appropriate intervention or referrals to senior staff.
• Supervise movement of pupils to/from dining areas and manage dining room order.
• Assist with serving, clearing and tidying dining areas and equipment.
• Attend to sickness or minor accidents and carry out basic first aid when needed.
• Complete required documentation related to lunchtime incidents and participate in reviews.
