Our client, with 3 boys aged 8, 7 and 5, are seeking a Live-out Nanny based at their residence in Kensington. Both parents work full-time.
The family are looking for a reliable, energetic candidate with a good sense of humour.
The family are saying goodbye to their current Nanny who has been with them for 4 years, and their previous Nanny before that stayed for 5 years, so a Nanny with longevity in previous roles is ideal.
The eldest B(8) has autism and he is a happy, busy boy! SEN experience is not needed, but someone who has a good attitude and who is keen to get involved and care for him.
All three boys are in full time school. B(8) has school transport and will not be needing drops or pick-ups. B(7) and B(4) are at school in Victoria and the Nanny is required to pick them up and come back home to continue with homework and evening meals for the children.
In the school holidays, the Nanny will have all 3 boys on her own. This means they need to have good energy and fun ideas for entertaining boys! The B(8) and B(7) occasionally do clubs in the holidays but the Nanny needs to be comfortable and happy with all 3. When holidaying in the Algarve, where the family has a second home, all boys do camps - golf, swimming, football etc.
Before school pick up the Nanny must be happy to muck in and do some nursery and family assistant duties; this will include tasks such as doing the children’s laundry, emptying the dishwasher, and running errands. The family have a Housekeeper who comes in once a week to clean and iron.
The hours are Monday to Thursday 12.00pm-6:30pm and Fridays 12.00pm-6.00pm during term time (32 hours per week). There is flexibility around the 12.00pm start if needed. During school holidays (11 weeks) the hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am-7.00pm (50 hours per week).
